What education is required if I did not renew my license in the previous renewal cycle's) and my license is in involuntary inactive status.

If it has been less than 12 months that you did not renew, then you are required to complete – 14 hours of approved continuing education

If it has been more than 12 months but less than 24 months that you did not renew, then you are required to complete the 28-hour reactivation education course. (After 24 months past the license expiration date, the license becomes null and void and you must reapply).

Beginning April 1, 2008 only the 28-hour reactivation education course will be accepted to renew an involuntary inactive license. (Renewal must include all applicable fees, including late fee).

  2. Once you purchase this online course, you "Can Not" receive a refund.
  3. Your online course is good for (1) one year from exact date, hour, minute, second of registration.
  4. A grade of 70% or higher on a FREC-prescribed, end of course 50-question exam is required. You will have (90) minutes to finish the exam.
  5. Students who fail the end-of-course examination must wait 30 days from the date of the original examination to retest using a different end-of-course exam. Within one year of the original examination, a student may retest a maximum of one time. Otherwise, students must repeat the entire course again to become eligible to take another end-of-course examination.
    Renewal and Course Completion Certificate
  6. You must allow the following times for processing and receive your Course Completion Certificate:
    bullet"Issuing" a Course Completion Certificate means that we will emailed it to you.
    bulletThe minimum time you should allow between the final exam and receiving your course completion certificate is approximately 3-5 business days, SO PLAN YOUR STATE RENEWAL ACCORDINGLY!
    bulletIn the event you lose your Course Completion Certificate, a duplicate may be obtained by written request. An administrative fee of $25 will be charged for the duplicate request.
